Chemical Engineer vacancy in Lusail Qatar Chemical Engineer - Process Development Specialist We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Process Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing chemical processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. This position is particularly suitable for male candidates of Indian nationality. Key Responsibilities Conduct research and experiments to develop new chemical processes or improve existing ones Analyze data and results to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations Design process equipment and systems, including selecting appropriate materials and ensuring compatibility with chemicals Collaborate with other engineers, scientists, and technicians to conduct trials, tests, and scale-up processes Monitor production processes to identify potential issues and troubleshoot problems Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new processes or modifications to existing ones Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations in all process development activities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in process development in the chemical industry Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, kinetics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mass transfer Familiarity with process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or Chem CAD Experience with design of experiments (DOE) methodology Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data Strong problem-solving skills Good communication skills with the ability to effectively present technical information Personal Attributes As a Process Development Specialist, you will need to have a curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
