Position Summary Zero One Solutions is actively seeking an experienced and specialized Security Engineer with 10+ years of relevant experience to join our client operations in Qatar on a contract basis. In this critical network security and infrastructure role, you will be responsible for supporting 24×7 high-availability, high-transaction enterprise environments, managing complex gateway architectures, and leading advanced F5 application delivery controller deployments. You will leverage your robust Cisco enterprise networking expertise, PKI certificate management proficiency, and deep knowledge of routing protocols to ensure resilient, secure, and high-performance operations. Detailed Job Description As a Security Engineer at Zero One Solutions, you will take full operational ownership of enterprise load-balancing, gateway security, and network routing architectures in Qatar. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and deploying load-balancing solutions using F5 (TMOS, LTM, GTM, ASM, APM) and Kemp, managing PKI infrastructure, SSL/TLS certificates, and CA trust bundles, and troubleshooting complex routing issues across routers, switches, and firewalls. You will collaborate closely with enterprise IT teams, write detailed technical documentation and implementation plans, and participate in 24×7 high-availability support rotations. Furthermore, you will ensure strict compliance with enterprise security baselines and maintain robust application delivery performance across mission-critical platforms. Key Responsibilities Provide expert engineering support and configuration management for Cisco enterprise networking equipment, routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Manage complex gateway architectures and design/deploy robust load-balancing solutions using F5 or Kemp technologies. Administer F5 TMOS platforms, CLI, LTM, GTM, ASM, APM, and Route Domains in high-availability enterprise environments. Oversee Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate lifecycle management, including installation, CRL, OCSP, and CA trust bundles. Support 24×7 high-availability, high-transaction enterprise environments, managing incident response and troubleshooting network bottlenecks. Configure and optimize advanced routing and switching protocols, including RIP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and Qo S. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and detailed implementation plans for network changes. Coordinate with internal security teams, application developers, and external vendors to ensure seamless traffic routing and platform security. Required Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 10+ years of relevant professional experience in network engineering, enterprise security, and infrastructure support. At least 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience in Cisco enterprise networking and core routing/switching. Strong technical knowledge and practical experience with RIP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Qo S, routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Strong hands-on expertise in F5 TMOS, CLI, LTM, GTM, ASM, APM, and Route Domains. Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise load-balancing solutions using F5 or Kemp platforms. Strong knowledge of PKI and certificate management, including installation, Certificate Revocation Lists (CRL), OCSP, and CA trust bundles. Proven track record supporting 24×7 high-availability, high-transaction enterprise environments and complex gateway architectures. Mandatory physical availability in Qatar for immediate onboarding. Nice-to-Have Skills Professional vendor certifications such as F5 Certified Administrator (F5-CA) and F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS) in LTM, GTM, or APM. Advanced Cisco certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or Security. Experience with network automation and scripting using Python, Ansible, or Bash. Familiarity with containerized networking, Kubernetes Ingress controllers, and cloud security architectures (Azure/AWS). Prior working experience within telecommunications, financial services, or major enterprise IT firms in the GCC region.
