Location Doha Job Category Information Technology (IT) & Software Engineering & Technical Others / Miscellaneous Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst – QA/UAT with strong hands‑on expertise in SQL, database testing, report validation, and functional testing . The role is focused on ensuring data accuracy, application quality, and reliable reporting through comprehensive testing and validation activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing functional and database testing, validating reports and data, identifying and tracking defects, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Strong practical SQL expertise is essential for performing data verification, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and report validation. Key Responsibilities Perform functional, database, and UAT testing activities. Write and execute SQL queries for report validation and data verification. Conduct data reconciliation and investigate data discrepancies. Perform database testing using Oracle and/or SQL Server . Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases. Identify, document, track, and validate software defects. Conduct regression and smoke testing as required. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and SOAP . Utilize test case management and defect tracking tools such as Azure Dev Ops or similar platforms. Maintain accurate testing documentation and QA records. Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices. Collaborate with relevant technical and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues. Apply analytical and problem‑solving skills to ensure software and data quality. Requirements & Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering , or a related field. Experience Relevant professional experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance . Strong practical experience in SQL and database testing . Hands‑on experience with report validation, data verification, reconciliation, and troubleshooting . Experience in functional testing, including test case design and execution. Technical Skills Advanced practical knowledge of SQL is mandatory. Hands‑on experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server . Strong understanding of functional testing. Knowledge of regression testing, smoke testing, and UAT. Experience with Azure Dev Ops or comparable test case management and defect tracking tools. Experience with API testing using Postman and SOAP . Basic understanding of automation testing concepts. Strong testing documentation and defect management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. Ability to support QA process improvements and maintain high testing standards.
