IT Support Engineer Location: Qatar Job Summary We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide technical and operational support for IT systems, infrastructure, applications, and end-user technology environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, supporting system administration activities, maintaining IT services, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Provide first and second-level technical support for end users and IT services. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, system, and network connectivity issues. Perform system administration tasks and routine maintenance activities. Monitor IT services and identify operational issues proactively. Support system deployments, upgrades, configurations, and testing activities. Maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and service records. Escalate complex incidents and problems to senior technical teams when required. Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and service management processes. Deliver excellent customer support and maintain high service standards. Required Skills & Competencies Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of IT systems, operating systems, and business applications. Understanding of incident and service management processes. Basic networking and system administration knowledge. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to document technical issues and resolutions effectively. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant IT certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Comp TIA, ITIL, or equivalent) are an advantage. Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, technical support, or a related field. Experience supporting end-user devices, applications, and IT infrastructure.
