Mechanical engineer

Responsibilities Review and evaluate mechanical design drawings, specifications, and IFC documents. Identify design discrepancies, clashes, and technical issues and propose appropriate solutions. Prepare, review, and coordinate mechanical shop drawings for submission and approval. Prepare and submit material submittents ensuring compliance with project specifications and client requirements. Perform engineering calculations related to HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems as required. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams to obtain approvals and resolve technical issues. Prepare technical reports, method statements, and other engineering documentation. Support procurement activities by reviewing supplier technical offers and verifying compliance with project requirements. Assist site teams by providing technical support and resolving engineering and construction-related issues. Ensure all technical submissions and engineering activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 8‑10 years of experience in MEP projects, with a strong background in technical office and engineering works. Proven experience in design review, shop drawing preparation, material submittals, and engineering calculations. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical building services systems. Familiarity with relevant international codes, standards, and engineering practices. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering software. Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
