# Sr. Planning Engineer# Sr. Planning Engineer**Job Location:** Qatar Scope of Work• Review/comment/approve the baseline schedule –prepared and submitted by the contractor, taking into consideration the identification of craft labor /equipment /material /cash requirements by time period. • Review the progress status reports – prepared and submitted by the contractor – by the time period, as set forth in the contract. • Review one Month/Bi-Weekly/Weekly look-ahead schedule. • Follow closely the labor mobilization and/or demobilization, also follow equipment /material deliveries, should they start to fall behind the schedule, take action to expedite the deliveries, as there should be no surprises with respect to such deliveries. • Involve Site Project Manager and Client for bringing the contractors into line with the overall construction plan. • Provides assistance to the Project Manager for reports on contractors delay in project deliverables and corrective action suggestions. • Assist Site Project Manager for preparing the monthly report and project follow up report. • Perform time impact analysis prior to issuing change order (the client must be aware of both schedule impact and cost impact). • Assist Site Quantity Surveyor to analyze and evaluate contractors’ claims, prepare recommendations concerning justified/excusable time extensions, as the case may be. • Participates in the negotiations on project control aspects with Vendors and Contractors; Reviews and comment on Contractors’ and Vendors’ schedules; Issues revised schedules including corrective actions.more than 15 years of experience.## Apply for this position Afghan▾Allowed Type(s):.pdf
