Network administrator

We are seeking an experienced Network & Security Administrator / Engineer to manage, maintain, and secure our enterprise network infrastructure. This role focuses on core routing and switching across next-generation firewalls, high-availability load balancing, web application security, and specialized security systems. Responsibilities Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching environments across Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) including Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet. Implement, maintain, and optimize Load Balancing and Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions, specifically utilizing Array Networks. Administer and manage security solutions including Sandboxing, SIEM, and Endpoint Protection suites based on Fortinet and Symantec. Monitor network performance, availability, and alerts utilizing tools such as ITRS Opsview or similar enterprise monitoring platforms. Manage incident, problem, and service request lifecycles following the ITIL framework. Troubleshoot complex network issues, including packet loss, latency, and connectivity outages. Document network configurations, topology diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and change records. Required Skills Mandatory hands‑on expertise in Routing & Switching in multi-vendor NGFW environments (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet). Mandatory hands‑on administration experience with Load Balancing and WAF platforms (Array Networks preferred). Working knowledge of enterprise security platforms, specifically SIEM, Sandboxing, and Symantec/Fortinet Endpoint Protection. Experience with enterprise network monitoring tools (ITRS Opsview or equivalent) and ticketing systems. Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and standard service management processes. Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and network diagnostic skills Required Experience Demonstrated hands‑on experience as a Network Administrator / Network Security Engineer. Proven track record implementing and managing Next-Generation Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Forti Gate) and Array Networks ADC/WAF. Experience administering Fortinet and Symantec security suites in enterprise environments. Experience operating within ITIL-driven enterprise environments handling incident and change tickets Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. Relevant certifications are preferred: CCNA / CCNP, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE 4+, ITIL Foundation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
