Accountant

A professional accounting and business services organisation is hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant for opportunities in Oman and Qatar. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Prepare invoices, receipts, vouchers, and payment records. Perform bank and ledger reconciliations. Maintain general ledger and supporting financial documentation. Assist with monthly and periodic financial reporting. Monitor income, expenses, payments, and outstanding balances. Ensure accounting records are accurate and properly maintained. Support tax, audit, and compliance-related activities when required. Coordinate with internal teams and clients regarding financial transactions. Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information. Requirements Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field preferred. Accounting experience is an advantage. Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial procedures. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and organisational skills.
